HOPE DEADLINES THIS WEEK!

The early deadline for HOPE talk and workshop submissions is only two days away! If you want to give a talk or workshop at this year’s HOPE conference, please consider taking advantage of early submission by April 30.

Early submissions help us plan better. Also, if your talk or workshop is
accepted, you will be assured of a spot on our schedule, no matter how many more submissions are received after then.

Please send your talk or panel proposals to speakers@hope.net, and your
workshop proposals to workshops@hope.net.

We’re looking for all kinds of interesting and diverse subject matter pertaining to technology, hacking, privacy, and more. Presenters get free
admission to the conference and a chance to share ideas with a unique and
enthusiastic audience.

We have pages with tips for good proposals – guidelines for talks and
workshops can be found at https://www.hope.net/call-for-participation/ .

Also, please know that we need volunteers to help make HOPE happen. There is much to be done, before, during, and after HOPE. If you want to help, just click on the Volunteer tab at https://hope.net and fill out the form
letting us know how you’d like to participate! You will meet new people,
learn, and get a free volunteer t-shirt.

Finally, this Thursday is also the deadline for our EFF fundraiser, where
10% of every ticket sold will be donated to the Electronic Frontier
Foundation as they continue to fight for our digital freedoms. Just click
on the Tickets tab at https://www.hope.net. (We have both in-person and
virtual tickets.)
